Poetic therapy—
Loving Life & Loving Self
I first learned of my love for poetry at the young age of 12. My first poet inspiration was Maya Angelou, when I discovered her poem “I Know Why the Cage Bird Sings.“ She continues to be an inspiration until this day. The singer, Jill Scott is also my biggest inspiration. I love the way she incorporates poetry into her music. She inspires the word play that I love to add to my poetry. I love neo soul music and often listen to get inspired to write.
I have an associates in Human Services Specialist and a bachelors in Psychology. I have a passion in helping and encouraging people. I am known as everyone’s “personal” therapist. My poetry talks about love, life, relationships, mental attraction, and self love.
