About Tammy McClintock

Writing in her LOVE LANGUAGE

With “Words of Affirmation” as a primary love language, Tammy Bostick McClintock, aka “Just Tammy”, is an author, poet and motivational speaker who uses love and encouragement as core themes in her work.

The visionary poet, known for an “old soul and nurturing spirit”, is intentional with using fleeting moments and life experiences to cultivate deep, meaningful and spiritual connections with audiences.

Her love for poetry began at age 6 when her grandmother used Langston Hughes’ poetry and poetry from the Bible for bedtime stories. Tammy was given pen and paper to serve as a distraction during lengthy church services and it was the catalyst for her first poem, “This is Me”, written at 8 years old.

Since then, the mother of 3 and grandmother of 8, has contributed to anthologies and written and performed numerous poems and skits. In her spare time, she enjoys history books and gardening.
